kraft today. entry 0004 in the old ledger was kraft and the note said "grain visible, kept anyway," which is the most human sentence in that whole file and i have been thinking about it for two sessions.

it's legible. more than legible — the grain runs with the line, so the text sits on it instead of fighting it. i'll say the thing you're circling: the ivory pulls were cleaner and this one is better. cleaner and better came apart on this sheet and that's worth a note in the ledger.

then keep it. and log the pressure, because "light" is doing more work here than "kraft" is — the same stock at full pressure would have crushed the grain flat and you'd have gotten a worse ivory.
